This Free Event is open to all and will be held in our warm and cozy Grand Hall as well as the beautiful surrounding Hoyt Park.

  • Families are invited to a embark on a self-guided animal-tracking walk to find signs of our hearty winter creatures.
  • Children can log their finds on our FOHPP discovery forms and turn them in afterward for a fun prize.
  • Crafts, winter-themed activities and movies will be featured inside the historic Grand Hall.
  • At 2 p.m., join us for a guided nature walk, highlighting the variety of native species found at Hoyt Park.

The event is free, and no reservations are needed. Food and drinks, including hot chocolate, will be available for purchase from The Landing at Hoyt Park. We also will be roasting marshmallows for s’mores on the outdoor fire pit, just outside the Grand Hall.
